PADI Divemaster Course

Price: €995 per person (includes PADI eLearning materials) PADI Fee: €152 (paid directly to PADI)

The PADI Divemaster course prepares you to work as a professional diver: guiding certified divers, assisting instructors, and leading dives safely. It is the first professional level in the PADI system.

✅ Requirements

  • Minimum certification: Rescue Diver PADI or equivalent from another federation.
  • Minimum age: 16 years for Junior Divemaster (experience only, does not allow working as a DM).
  • Minimum age: 18 years for full Divemaster.
  • EFR (Emergency First Response) or first aid and CPR training updated within the last 24 months (if not current, it can be updated for €95).
  • At least 40 logged dives to start the course and 60 dives to certify.
  • Recent diving medical certificate (usually <12 months).
  • Basic equipment included during the course, but each participant must have their own:**: Dive computer, Compass, SMB (Surface Marker Buoy), Reel, Pocket mask.

**These items are not available for rental, although we can offer a purchase option.

⏰ Duration and Schedule

  • PADI Divemaster course duration: approx. 15 days (intensive).
  • Internship Option: a 15-day DM course is mainly designed for self-learning and intensive practice, but is not recommended for those who want to work directly as a DM.

For this, we recommend the internship option, where participants are daily at the center, participating in absolutely everything: logistics, trips, courses, and assisting divers (from Open Water to Rescue), following the full schedule of the dive center.

💳 Divemaster Course Content

During the course, you will combine theory, practical skills, and real experience at the dive center, learning to:
  • Supervise activities and guide certified divers.
  • Dive planning and logistics.
  • Develop professional skills underwater.
  • Endurance, rescue, and problem-solving exercises.

🛡️ Diving Insurance

  • Mandatory for all certified divers.
  • If you do not have insurance, we can arrange it at the center: 10 €/day · 25 €/week · 30 €/month · 45 €/year
